Cooler inspection and repair

Blokland recently carried out inspection and repair work on a marine cooler.

Prior to the work, our team conducted an onboard inspection to assess the cooler's condition and determine the required scope of work. The cooler was then collected from the shipyard and transported to our facility for further inspection and servicing.

After disassembly, the components were visually inspected, revealing that one of the end plates was in poor condition. The plates were thoroughly cleaned and inspected, after which the rejected end plate was replaced with a new one.

The cooler was then correctly reassembled and pressure tested to ensure proper performance. After successful testing, the cooler was delivered back to the shipyard.
