 A bottom-type cooler is a perfect cooling system for the pleasure cruising sector and the commercial shipping industry. This type of cooler is mounted on the inside of the ship's skin, making sure the bottom of the ship remains flat. There are no parts standing out, preventing any damage being done or settling tanks becoming clogged. An extra raw-water pump is unnecessary. Bottom-type cooler are easy to place and demountable. They are very suitable for places with a limited height to build in a cooler. Bottom-type cooler are with coating seawater proof.
Type 140 may be delivered with a hose connection or a threaded connection. Type 165 and other types have flanged connections. Delivery of these types include a set of counter flanges and gaskets. For de-aeration a thick welding elbow is supplied. The pipeline connected to this elbow should be mounted below the waterline. We recommend you place this pipeline in a rising position. The de-aeration hole is positioned in the middle of the top of the box, but it may be positioned elsewhere at your request.
Standard delivery comes with aluminium anodes. At your request, zinc anodes may be provided. The dimensions of the coolers can be found below.
